A lot of aggressive advertising for EDI Air Canada plastered across buses at Buchanan Street today.
You could probably argue that Edinburgh Airport has a more visible presence than Glasgow Airport in Glasgow.
I’ve said this for years regarding airport and airline advertising.

Absolutely clear marketing against GLA by quoting the new flight number and not a generic eg 'The new flight will' . . . . 'Flight UA 162 will operate between Edinburgh and New York/Newark'
No reply to my email to Glasgow Chamber of Commerce

Just checking that's not the actual airport taxis and its black cabs in the city?

Didn’t think GLA Cabs advertised anything
Thought it was all plain white vehicles, shirt n tie jobbies?

Think they’re referring to the hackney cabs in the city rather than the Renfrewshire council licensed cabs which sit at the airport.

The US majors regard Scotland as a single destination, as the advert indicates. However, as a UA FF member I get e-mails from them, and it's pretty clear they still see the destination as Scotland, you just happen to land on a different runway now. The e-mail about the return of UA161/2 started "Great news for all our Scottish customers", extolling the virtues of being able to fly from Scotland to the US 4 times a day.
