Just back from a cracking few days in Benidorm. G-JZHX on the way out, flight just about full. G-GDFC on the way back today, flight close to 50% full.

How was the weather Kirky? Is it just getting warmed up or are they already up to full-on burning? I know some of southern Spain/Portugal have been ablaze this year already.

My man in Marbs was on blower yesterday. Mental Hot.
Anyone heading over from now will be fine with the weather until November. Whats not to like!
Also, I got my long time tenant out last Friday
The Hacienda is available to any who wish a cheap week in Marbs.
Nothing like selling your wares on a forum eh?

Just back from my second trip of the year, this time with Ryanair and Jet2.

27th April: FR4741 GLA-WMI B738 (SP-RSK) Sold Out, late departure from GLA due to baggage issues at the gate as Swissport were strictly enforcing Ryanair's baggage policy, apart from that good flight.

4th May: LS154 PRG-GLA B738 (G-DRTY) approx 95% full, possibly slightly more, slight delay on the flight from Prague due to a long taxi time and holding for an EK 777 to land.

Next up is Icelandair GLA-KEF-YYZ with an overnight in KEF using their 767-300 and 737Max9 next month.

First flights for this year, used the new easyJet flight to Porto:-

08MAY EJU7786 A320 OE-ICN FT 2hrs 24mins

12MAY EJU7785 A320 OE-IJF FT 2hrs 47mins

Mini-report:-
Outbound less than 10mins at bag drop, less than 10mins at security. On time departure and efficient boarding.
20mins to pass through passport control at Oporto.
Oporto Airport is modern, bright and on 3 main levels. One of the best terminals I have ever used.
Good view of runway once past security and in the departure lounge.
Inbound easyJet has conventional check-in desks, less than 10mins again, also busy security but only 15mins to pass through.
Boarding not so good, only one person checking the priority queue and once boarded onto transit bus, only one person checking the rest.
Load wise I did not see any spare seats on either flight, which is very encouraging.
