Article on EDI S23 espansion from FR, but interesting line in article 'It is understood a further announcement will follow next week on routes from Glasgow.'

Not sure if that's GLA or PIK?

I fear just PR spin to get more free column inches in the press - have some further routes not been launched from PIK already? (Edit : Marseille & Pisa)

If I try looking on a more positive side for GLA - something other than increased frequencies on Alicante & Malaga or competing on an existing route are key from Ryanair

I note the PR spin of saying Venice is a new destination when it’s just replacing Treviso.

New airport yes, new destination is a good spin

Don’t the read the part about EDI

Read that part about GLA announcement next week

Possible extra routes or based aircraft

There is no part stating ‘GLA announcement next week’ or have I missed a paragraph or three? I see that there will be additional flights announced for Glasgow’s airport(s) next week, but not airport specific.

Copy and paste from the article:

"It is understood a further announcement will follow next week on routes from Glasgow."

Guaranteed PIK routes imho. Unfortunately, PIK is Glasgow for FR, seems it always will be.
Would love to be proved wrong though. :D
