Other European airports aren’t doing that great either.
Been happening for decades. Domestic flights are the first to get canned as soon as London Airways hit a snag. I suppose it depends on how big a gambler one is.

Didn’t say it wasn’t. I just said Heathrow? Just Say No. and that’s because it’s always an almighty fuqq-up when the brown stuff hits the fan, with domestic services the first to be cancelled.

There’s a rumour posted on Anet that this was in response to another ME carrier whose owner has a stake in LHR not having to reduce their schedule.

Yes and also states on anet that this is because they are based at T4 which is currently under capacity at the moment so wouldn't be required to cut back
