Well after a great flight down to AGP time for a night stop before flying off next afternoon to AMS then FRA. Both flights were with KLM; the first a 737-900 PH-BXO resplendent in Skyteam colours, the onward flight to Frankfurt on E190 PH-EZH.
KLM and Cityhopper onboard service was good; a sandwich and drink on the former flight and water and snack on the latter flight.
The weather in AMS on arrival was overcast then sunny then thundery causing a delay to the FRA departure due to heavy thunderstorms over Western Germany. After a bumpy departure we threaded our way between thunder cells being treated to a display of sheet lightening (thankfully) in the distance. Fifty minutes later it was time to land in FRA before the thunderstorm engulfed there. I could see and hear it outside my hotel once I had checked in.
Anyway what should have been a 2120 arrival turned into almost 2330 with bedtime beckoning around 0100. Not before I had opened my parcel from Condor containing the 767 farewell items - well it was my birthday!
