New Glasgow Life tourism campaign with Expedia

Post by egpffqtv »

Finally something positive. Now if they could work with the Chamber of Commerce, the airlines and the airport, that would be really joined up thinking!

Ironic they’re targeting these countries though and direct service to Glasgow is not a patch on what it could and should be.

Interesting article, all going so well until:

Glasgow Life’s campaign upweights a national campaign, which is currently being run with Expedia by VisitScotland, aimed at encouraging more international visitors to consider Scotland in 2022. Glasgow Life and VisitScotland, together with Scottish Enterprise, are the partners collectively delivering Glasgow’s Tourism and Visitor Plan to 2023.

Guarantee everything will be through our mates in the east's airport due to the involvement of the underlined organisation. :(

I hadn't realised this existed, but seems to go back to 2017.
