Lockdown over, construction workers back on site, and a partial contra flow at the GAAEC club end, so you'll have trouble parking during the week days unless you maybe go up to the Inchinnan Rd layby and walk back over ? Weekends are fair game, other than the afore mentioned sunday social club leaning over their car bonnets for a chinwag.Clydeflyer wrote: ↑Sun Jul 12, 2020 1:15 pm Well caught - Shots from this spot are becoming much more difficult due to the construction work. I take it there wasn`t much doing as it was Sunday.
Cheers.

Sounds like a place to avoid for me - This position will probably disappear altogether once the buildings start to go up. It will be interesting to see whether there will be any vantage point at all on this stretch once the development nears completion.
Re: Interesting Movements 2020
I suspect it remains to be seen if and when the buildings will go up, given the widely predicted forthcoming recession ? AFAIK the current works, which were scheduled for November completion (presumably Feb/March 21 now ?) are only for the new road infrastructure part of the project as well as the new cycle route and river crossing up at Inchinnan road bridge, which in itself may provide an interesting view point ? I can envisage potential runway 23 vantage points within the new business park if there's the possibility of getting an above fence height view somewhere though, who knows what might 'pop' up in the mean time though and/or 'when' but ultimately I think we're a good while away from losing the current spots completely.Clydeflyer wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 9:06 am Sounds like a place to avoid for me - This position will probably disappear altogether once the buildings start to go up. A321s G-EUXH, XK and XL all performed GLA-GLA engineering flights yesterday. It was mentioned on Flyertalk that this is the first step of the A321s returning to LHR.
On a related note, A320 Neo G-TTND positioned to GLA for maintenance today.
I note BA A321 G-MEDM, has transferred from Bournemouth to Glasgow in the last half hour as I write. Presumably this is in for maintenance too ? Seems to have parked beside Loganair for now.

Couple of Chinooks over the Govan/Renfrew area just now. Make the usual helicopters look a touch pathetic.
Re: Interesting Movements 2020
EUXF came north from Bournemouth on Monday as well. Monday afternoon had 9 on 09/27, two 321's at hangar, 320's on 64/65/7, and two more 321's on 19 and 21.Allen McL wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 4:50 pmMcG wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 12:59 pm Some of the A320's have returned to LHR.

Edited to Add:
As part of their restructuring OS are getting rid of their fleet of 22 Dash 8's.
I would assume that its likely we will see more as they head across the pond back to Canada.
