A few reductions apparently.

10 Routes cut and reverting back to all 737-800 based. Currently still changes to be me regarding who's operating (FR or RK)
All subject to change

We won’t need to know the minutiae. Suffice to say we know they have a base there and not here.GeorgeNTravels wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 11:31 am10 Routes cut and reverting back to all 737-800 based. Currently still changes to be me regarding who's operating (FR or RK)

For 10 routes there is nothing on sale next summer, as I said subject to change. What is clear from piecing together each aircrafts operations for each day is that there is still stuff to be added or changed.southflyer wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 12:18 pmNot sure about ten routes being chopped, but according to Aeroroutes:GeorgeNTravels wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 11:31 am10 Routes cut and reverting back to all 737-800 based. Edinburgh – Grenoble Seasonal service 16DEC23 – 30MAR24 suspended
Edinburgh – Pisa Suspended 07NOV23 – 15MAR24
Edinburgh – Turin Seasonal service 16DEC23 – 30MAR24 suspended
Edinburgh – Valencia Suspended 07NOV23 – 15MAR24
Toulouse – Edinburgh Suspended 07NOV23 – 15MAR24
Tirana – Edinburgh eff 31OCT23 2 weekly 737-800^
For example on Thursday flight FR2321 lands from Billund at 0955, but the next based departure after that is at 1235. Given I am looking at July I highly doubt FR would keep an aircraft on the ground that long, especially when their 25 min turnarounds mean that should be leaving again at 1020.
There is also days with 1 RK aircraft and others with 3, so my guess is they are still tweaking who exactly will operate each flight.
Re: Ryanair: Could my prayers be answered?
Looks very much like S24 is still a work in progress, so I suspect we won't have a clear idea o what's happening at GLA, and elsewhere, until January or even February. It will be very interesting to see if GLA can make them an acceptable offer to provide some extra services next year.

Thanks for the effort but as I said we don’t want this kind of detail in a GLA forum never mind a GLA thread.

Indeed. So we don’t need daily updates on another airports’ schedule.PiperOne wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 12:45 pm Looks very much like S24 is still a work in progress, so I suspect we won't have a clear idea o what's happening at GLA, and elsewhere, until January or even February. Re: Ryanair: Could my prayers be answered?
Ryanair released this statement, where they expected to receive 57 new aircraft by next May, at end of September.
https://corporate.ryanair.com/news/ryan ... ry-delays/
A subsequent Bloomberg article on 12th October said that Ryanair now expected to receive less than 40 of the scheduled aircraft they were due to take from Boeing by next May.
Since then Boeing have announced further delays and that they anticipate delivering less aircraft than they had previously indicated they could deliver because of the delays.
I would say in this instance it’s not AGS that are the problem but Boeing that need to get their act together.
