She’s not confused. She’s just lying to try to make the Scottish Government look bad. And don’t The Herald just love it?Bearsden wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 6:41 pm https://www.heraldscotland.com/politics ... ears-work/
Glasgow airport was one such example, with Ms Dee explaining the airport “has lost all of its transatlantic routes, most of its international routes, and it's lost more than 50% of its domestic routes as a result of the pandemic.”
I think she has confused routes with frequencies in parts of this statement - GLA has not lost 50% of its domestic routes!!
GLA management better start counter-balancing that statement with whatever crumbs they can, especially 'most of its international routes' . . .

The news is not the news. People shouldn’t consume it.
100%. It can’t in all honesty be incompetence.Bearsden wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 10:22 pmQuite an accusation . . . . Well I would have thought she might have checked her facts with GLA management before speaking in a publicly broadcast meeting - we of course hope GLA management didn't give her the wording she used!
I've had a look at the various comments on this article and the Summer 2022 US flights from EDI article (see other thread) as well as Ryanair's Summer 2022 schedule from PIK and sat back with an accountant's hat on . . . quite simply how deep are AGS's pockets in £s?Bearsden wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 12:17 pm https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/197 ... ry-future/
Again note the different tone in the words . . .
