Looking back to last year, it was mid-January when the return of the A380 was announced, so we may hear something soon. Worth noting this is also the 20th anniversary of the route, in April.

Good news and bad news then. What puzzles me is EK can add extra capacity on other UK routes despite this.

Or have they already missed the boat given QR increasing to winter double daily on A350s?

I’m perfectly well aware if that as you already well know. It doesn’t stop it being part of, a very large part, of the competition on Middle East departures.

It’s even more interesting that you don’t respond to the issue of Emirates being able to add capacity at other Uk airports yet cannot increase capacity at GLA.
