Cop 26 flights

Post by Ken1 »

What is coming into GLA, EDI and PIK for the conference and when, plus are they being stored at PIK?

I assume Air Force One now going to Edi given Biden staying there?

With respect
I would advise that anyone ‘in the know’ that they keep any info about visiting aircraft off any aviation group list or social media
You will probably receive a visit at your home from a man in a suit.
Trust me, I speak from knowledge of a colleague’s experience in the past

I don’t think EDI could take it now with the closure of the old runway.
My bets is still on PIK or RAF Leuchars

There have been several police escort "trial runs" this week , past the Normandy , through Renfrew Town Centre and onto the M8 at Hillington , which would suggest that VIPs are expected at GLA ?

Given the sheer amount of delegates and world leaders attending the conference I'd imagine all the airport's will host flights of some sort. Prestwick would I imagine host most of the "VVIP" aircraft given it is the designated airport for terror incidents, less busy, plenty of apron space and has obviously been used for a US presidential visit previously.

Not sure if related but a Japanese 777 has just landed at EDI. Believed to be positioning to PIK later on

The environmental conference where they fly a 777 halfway round the world just to "try out" landings and taxying at not one but three potential arrival sites. You couldn't make up it could you ? :?
