Looked like a 763 in the photos I saw todaysouthflyer wrote: ↑Sat May 07, 2022 4:25 pm United's IAD service has resumed and operates with a 767-400 until the end of June. ORD on the other hand has been pushed back until 1st July, could be why.

I hope they mean in the near future and not for good
Re: Edinburgh
No fixed plans but hoping it can happen in the future or words to that effect. Anyway - who knows what's around the corner.
Re: Edinburgh
It really is a sad state of affairs. GLA cannot maintain a US hub link and EDI is getting widebody service from 2 with narrowbody from another. There has to be far more focus on selling GLA as gateway to the Highlands and Islands. This is what people think of when they think of Scotland.

Re: Edinburgh
Worth remembering it might not be a failure of GLA management, United have 52 777-200 aircraft grounded because of the incident at Denver. This means 767's and 757's have been re-allocated to cover core routes. So they are massively short of a/c.

Think not just my opinion: “Worth remembering” as you start your post: It is a failure of GLA management.GeorgeNTravels wrote: ↑Sun May 08, 2022 3:01 pmWorth remembering it might not be a failure of GLA management, United have 52 777-200 aircraft grounded because of the incident at Denver. Re: Edinburgh
As far as I know the reasons for the wide body 767 is a lack of reliable 757. Delta and United are waiting delivery of theirbuddyboy wrote: ↑Sun May 08, 2022 7:45 am It really is a sad state of affairs. A321 LR. Once they have them they will properly return to narrow body again.
