The page itself is old, but the banner image has changed, but it could be on a cycle like some of the other pages.

Looks like the A380 could be back this year.
Emirates plan to have all the A380 flying again this year.

Interesting comments about wanting to increase one daily flights to double daily too. We shall see.

Hello again!

A380 coming online to GLA Q2 at the latest. It’s on sale April/May, perhaps sooner if EK can get through the backlog of training and re-entry into service of their aircraft. My inbound on 13th May has been changed to A388 so that’s a bonus.

Edit 26th March officially

Some good news seeing the A380 back, fingers crossed we can get back to double daily.

Spoke too soon. Looks like 26th March sees the first flight, much sooner than expected.
Haha, I was hoping that would be the case. 😝

A bit of good news at last.

My definition of 'good news' is second flight to GLA and nothing to EDI!!

Good to see the return of the Big Beast, useful capacity increase across all classes which will hopefully cater for the demand for a bit. Should also give EK a bit of competitive edge.
